Pork or Chicken Schnitzel Bake

• 4 pork, chicken, or turkey schnitzels

• 1 onion

• A little oil for the baking dish

• 100 g lean bacon pieces

• 250 g mushrooms, thinly sliced

• 2 dill pickles (or more if you like), sliced

• 2 bell peppers, sliced

• 2 garlic cloves

• 250 ml broth

• 200 g sour cream

• 2 tbsp tomato paste

• Tabasco or chili pepper sauce

• Salt and pepper

• Hot paprika powder

• Optional: some grated cheese
