Pork or Chicken Schnitzel Bake

Season the schnitzels with salt and pepper, then place them in a baking dish.

Lightly oil a pan and sauté the onion.
Add the bacon, mushrooms, pickles, and bell peppers, and fry briefly.

Add the crushed garlic and pour in the broth.

Stir in the sour cream and tomato paste. Season with Tabasco, salt, pepper, and paprika.

Pour the sauce over the schnitzels in the baking dish.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan) or 200°C (conventional) for about 15–20 minutes, depending on the type of meat.

For cheese lovers: sprinkle some grated cheese over the top about 5 minutes before the baking time ends.

This dish pairs wonderfully with bread, pasta, rice, and many other sides.
