- 2 tbsp mayonnaise or thick yogurt
- 1 tsp mustard paste or powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika or red chili powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric (optional, for color and anti-inflammatory benefits)
- 1 tbsp finely chopped onions or spring onions
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander or parsley
- 1 tsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
- Salt to taste
