Harvest nettles before they appear: they are stronger (after the concordances that reach the flowers occur). Choose young shoots that are only a few centimeters long.
• Young nettles can be made into a tea; older ones should be boiled briefly to neutralize the washing effect. Nettle and alcohol for healthy hair and joint pain relief. A home remedy for use. Nettle prepared with alcohol makes an excellent natural remedy for symptoms and also helps relieve pain and swelling in joints and muscles.
This is especially important for people suffering from rheumatism or carpal tunnel syndrome.
Recipe:
• Using a wooden spoon, scoop the nettle into a 300 ml glass container, which can be filled about ¾ full. Add alcohol (vodka or brandy).
• Tightly close the container and let it sit for 4 days, pressing the nettle with a wooden spatula daily.
• After 4 uses, strain through cheesecloth.
If you’re struggling with hair loss, massage it into your scalp every other day for two weeks.
To strengthen and thicken your hair, use the infusion after every wash.
For joint pain and swelling
Massage the mixture into painful joints before a spa visit – it’s especially good for sore wrists and other joints.
It’s also effective for varicose veins: apply it to the affected area with a cotton ball.
This is an effective home remedy that I highly recommend.
