- 10–12 whole cloves
- 1½ cups water (filtered)
- 1 tsp honey or jaggery (optional for sweetness)
- Juice of ½ lemon (optional for freshness and vitamin C)

- 1 small cinnamon stick (for warmth and synergy)
- 1 tsp fresh ginger (for digestive support)
- 1 tsp fennel seeds (for breath and bloating)
- 1 pinch black pepper (enhances absorption)
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (for oral pH balance)
- 2 mint leaves (for cooling and aroma)
INSTRUCTION:
Step 1: Prepare the Base
- In a small saucepan, add water and whole cloves.
- Add cinnamon stick, fennel seeds, or ginger if using.
- Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes until the water is aromatic and slightly reduced.
Step 2: Cool and Strain
- Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Strain into a glass or bottle using a fine sieve.
- Add lemon juice, honey, or apple cider vinegar if desired.
- Stir well and taste. Adjust sweetness or acidity as needed.
Step 3: Use and Store
- Sip slowly, allowing the liquid to coat the tongue and throat.
- Alternatively, swish in the mouth for 30 seconds and spit out as a rinse.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Shake before use.
