Ritz Cracker Party Sandwiches

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Prepare the  Ham and Cheese: Cut the deli ham and Swiss cheese slices into quarters so they fit neatly between the crackers. You will need 24 small squares of each.
  3. Assemble the Sandwiches: Lay half of the Ritz crackers (24 crackers) flat on the prepared baking sheet. Top each cracker with one small slice of ham, followed by one small slice of Swiss cheese. Place the remaining 24 Ritz crackers on top of the cheese to form the sandwiches.
  4. Make the Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, whisk together the 4 tablespoons of melted butter, 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, ½ teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of poppy seeds, and ½ teaspoon of dried minced onion.
  5. Brush the Sandwiches: Using a pastry brush, generously brush the tops of the Ritz cracker sandwiches with the butter mixture. Make sure to coat each one evenly.
