  • Use a double boiler or heat-safe glass bowl over simmering water.

  • Mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution.

Step 4: Add Botanicals and Actives

  • If using aloe vera gel, whisk gently to emulsify.

Step 5: Pour and Set

  • Pour the balm into a clean, dry container (glass or BPA-free plastic).
  • Let it cool at room temperature until firm.
  • Seal with a lid and label with the date.

🧴 SERVINGS:

This recipe yields approximately 50–60 grams of balm, enough to fill a small jar or tin. It lasts for 3–4 months with daily use, depending on application area. For larger batches, simply double or triple the quantities while maintaining the ratios.

📝 NOTE:

  • Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is optional but may extend shelf life.
  • Shelf Life: Up to 6 months if stored properly. Discard if texture, color, or scent changes.

    • Dab onto lips and cuticles throughout the day.
    • Use as a highlighter balm on cheekbones for a dewy glow.
    • Massage into dry elbows, knees, or heels for instant relief.
  • Customization:
