Paula Deen’s 5-Minute Fudge

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
16 large marshmallows
1 cup chopped pecans
How to make it

Prepare the pan: Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper and set aside.
Prepare the base: In a saucepan, combine the sugar, unsweetened condensed milk, and butter over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is warm.
Add the chocolate: Stir in the chocolate chips until completely melted and smooth.
Melt the marshmallows: Add the marshmallows; Continue stirring until melted and glossy.

Finishing: Stir in the pecans and immediately spread the fudge into the prepared pan, smoothing the surface.
Preparation and Cutting: Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Unmold and cut into squares.
