
Bacon That’s Extra Crispy Every Time
- 1 lb thick-cut bacon (or regular if you prefer)
Optional:
- Wire rack + baking sheet (oven method)
- Aluminum foil + paper towels (microwave method)
Method 1: Oven-Baked Bacon
- Preheat – Set oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup, and place a wire rack on top to let fat drip away.
- Arrange – Lay bacon strips side by side without overlapping. Leave gaps for even cooking.
- Bake – Cook 15–20 minutes depending on thickness and desired crispiness. Watch closely at the end to avoid burning.
- Cool & Serve – Transfer bacon to a paper towel-lined plate. Perfect with eggs, pancakes, avocado toast, or on its own.
