Aussie Potato Salad

Stir in:

  • Chopped pickles
  • Pickle juice
  • Paprika
  • Red onion
  • Grated cheese

These additions create different flavour profiles – choose your favourite combo.

Step 7 – Chill & Serve

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Potato salad tastes best once flavours have time to mingle.

Serve cold or at room temperature.

Variations

1. Classic BBQ Potato Salad

Skip the bacon, sour cream, and pickles – use just mayo, mustard, eggs, parsley, and potatoes.

2. Loaded Aussie Potato Salad

Add:

  • 1 cup chopped cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup crispy fried shallots
  • ¼ cup chopped chives

3. Sweet Pickle Version

Use bread & butter pickles instead of dill pickles.

4. German-Style Warm Potato Salad

Use hot potatoes and dress with:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp grain mustard
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar

Serve warm without mayo.

5. Healthy Greek Yogurt Swap

Replace sour cream with plain Greek yoghurt for a lighter taste.

6. Vegetarian Version

Leave out bacon and add:
